Sentimental and funny, The Fantasticks is the longest-running musical in history for a reason. With a romantic tale of young lovers inspired by Romeo and Juliet, and memorable love songs accompanied by a lilting harp, it enchants audiences. A simply charming boy and girl next door are nudged toward marriage by their matchmaking Dads. Despite the Dads’ shenanigans and best intentions, the young couple must figure it out for themselves. With universal themes and a heartwarming earnestness, it’s appropriate for all ages. The Wall Street Journal has called it “The perfect first musical.” Our guest director is Curt L.
