The Fells Point Corner Theatre is burning to announce its eagerly anticipated 2015-2016 Season; #FIREintheHOUSE. Playing with fire (both literally and figuratively), this season promises to illuminate, intensify, and ignite! For over 100 years our location at 251 S. Ann St. stood as Engine 5 Firehouse, extinguishing local fires and serving the great city of Baltimore. This season, we intend to serve our city by sparking a few of our own---on stage.

DETROIT by Lisa D'Amour

Baltimore Premiere!

Ben, an ex-bank-drone-turned-techie and his wife Mary, a paralegal, see sudden signs of life at the deserted suburban house next door and invite their new neighbors over for a backyard barbecue. Little do they know that their back yard party is about to combust in Lisa D'Amour's Obie Award-winning comedy.

BETRAYAL by Harold Pinter
Directed by Andrew Porter
October 23rd - November 8th 2015

Pinter's haunting and time-bending fusion of simmering menace and sizzling desire presents the eternal triangle --- a husband, a wife, and the wife's lover/husband's best friend. Betrayal brilliantly captures the fractured lives of adulterers torn between two beds and two sets of memories.

John's stable relationship with his boyfriend is threatened when he accidentally falls in love with a woman. As the pressure mounts, it's boyfriend vs. girlfriend in a fierce battle to take possession of John, culminating in an explosive, no-holds-barred dinner party where sexual identity is stripped bare.

THE 39 STEPS Adapted by Patrick Barlow
From an original concept by Simon Corble and Nobby Dimon
Directed by Anthony Hinkle
January 15th - February 14th 2016

Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a gripping spy novel, add a flash of Monty Python and you have The 39 Steps: a fast-paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theatre! This two-time Tony and Drama Desk Award-winning treat is packed with over 150 characters (played by a ridiculously talented cast of 4), an on-stage plane crash, handcuffs, missing fingers and some old-fashioned, fiery romance! A show for the whole family!

VENUS IN FUR by David Ives
Directed by Lynda McClary
March 4th - April 3rd 2016

A struggling actress (wielding a whip as skillfully as she does the script) gives the audition performance of a lifetime in this spooky, sex-comedy---a suspense-packed study of the blistering erotics (and semiotics) of power in which the director and the actress prove to be seriously, almost scarily adept.

TIME STANDS STILL by Donald Margulies
Directed by Barry Feinstein
April 15th - May 15th 2016

Sarah, a war zone photojournalist returns to the safety zone of her Brooklyn loft after the explosion of a roadside bomb has left her with multiple injuries. Back at home, her long-time lover forces her to confront the addiction to danger that drives her back time and time again, risking everything in order to get the big story.
