Scott Carter

Scott Carter Scott Whiteley Carter has been attending the theatre since age four. Since that time he has been on stage, back stage, in the audience (as a patron and a critic) and in theatre administration. A graduate of Missouri State University, where he worked for two seasons in Tent Theatre, he has spent most of his life in his hometown of Little Rock. When not working in Little Rock as a government administrator, he is writing a book on the 36 years it took to construct a municipal auditorium in Little Rock, promoting the legacy of actor-director (and Little Rock native) Ben Piazza, correcting various news organizations in their stories about the Tony Awards (including the Tony Awards' own website) and being a general encyclopedia of useless knowledge (a sobriquet bequeathed in junior high).
