Lauren McMillen is thrilled to join the staff of BWW. Lauren is a graduate of West Virginia University, where she studied broadcast journalism. Lauren is currently a news anchor at a local television station, WDTV, in West Virginia. Aside from her full-time job, theater is her passion. Lauren grew up attending Broadway shows and local theater productions. This is where she discovered the power of the arts and how gratifying theater can be. She is excited to be able to incorporate her two loves together, writing and theater. Lauren also volunteers at the West Virginia Public Theater and assists with the marketing department. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, running, traveling, and singing show tunes.
