Dominic Luk

Dominic Luk Dominic Lucien Luk began his music training at age 3. In his teens he began training as a choral trainer in Kuala Lumpur and now for over ten years, has been teaching voice and vocal ensembles throughout Malaysia. While studying in Boston, Dominic was selected to be a member of the Harvard-Radcliffe Chorus at Harvard University and continued to study singing with Pamela Wolfe. Dominic was formerly a part of The Oral Stage, a theatre group for youths in Kuala Lumpur. He has also performed in stage plays and musicals, and has acted in local films, TV series, and commercials. In March 2012, Dominic played a lead role in 'Broadway Bites' (produced by Farah Sulaiman and Friends), and in April the same year, played
multiple roles in PAN Production’s 'The Wizard of Oz'. In December 2012, he was Molina in Kander & Ebb's 'Kiss of the Spider Woman' produced by The Actors Studio Kuala Lumpur. Dominic also writes for Selangor Times as a reviewer. Dominic has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and a Master’s Degree in Music and Women’s & Gender Studies. He is currently working on his doctoral dissertation on the evolution of male singers in American musical theatre.
