Warm up for School Dance with lycra and legwarmers each night from Wednesday 10 - Saturday 20 April. From 5:45pm School Dance's The Warm Up will see a host of '80s-inspired dance routines and music fill The Playhouse Stalls Foyer before the show, including dance troupe The Real Hot Bitches and DJ set by Andrew McClelland's Finishing School. After the show School Dance's Happy Snaps will introduce the Facebook generation to a host of retro paraphernalia, including Polaroid photography.

'80s dance troupe, The Real Hot Bitches will bring their trademark flare of lycra, legwarmers and big hair to their pre-show dance routines at School Dance's The Warm Up from 5:45pm each night. Audiences will have the chance to warm up and stretch with these choreographic experts in glamrock before the troupe launch into the hallmarks of '80s dance. Led by headmistress Teleesheah Sunrize, The Real Hot Bitches have taken Australia and New Zealand by sequined-covered storm and have played to packed houses at Auckland Fringe Festival, Melbourne Fringe Festival, Rainbow Serpent Festival and The Famous Spiegeltent.

Providing the soundtrack to School Dance's The Warm Up is Andrew McClelland's Finishing School. DJ and Master of Ceremonies Andrew McClelland will get the awkward party started and spin a jukebox of '80s classics from Flashdance to Run DMC. Playing the music you love - and have possibly forgotten - Andrew McClelland DJs across the country and routinely plays opening nights of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Melbourne International Film Festival. As a stand-up, Andrew McClelland has performed across Australia and New Zealand and has received the Comedians' Choice Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the Jury Prize at the Sydney Comedy Festival and the Crikey 'Best of the Fest' Award.

After the show audiences can take a part of the '80s home with them with School Dance's Happy Snaps. Post-show, audiences will have the chance to get their photo taken with authentic Polaroid cameras. There will also be camera-loving performers in the height of '80s fashion roving the foyer, who can add a pop of colour to a drab Polaroid. Techno-savvy patrons can also take their own Polaroid using Instagram or Twitter and use the hashtag #SchoolDanceACM to be included in Arts Centre Melbourne's online album.
