Brink Productions has appointed Karen Wilson as its new General Manager and Lee-Anne Donnolley as its new Producer.

Led by Artistic Director Chris Drummond, Brink Productions has carved a unique path within the Australian theatre landscape producing original theatre works of substance and scale such as the multi-award winning 'When the Rain Stops Falling' by Andrew Bovell and 'Thursday' by Bryony Lavery. Brink's trademark is original work developed collaboratively, empathetic storytelling, theatrical invention, rich visuals and the highest standards of acting.

Chris Drummond said the appointment of Karen Wilson and Lee-Anne Donnolley comes as Brink looks to expand the reach of its vision.

"The timing couldn't be better as Brink heads into a new era of creative development' said Chris. "I am excited to be welcoming two exceptional arts leaders to our company. Together Karen and Lee-Anne bring a tremendous complement of experience, energy and creativity."

Karen Wilson brings extensive experience from the arts and entertainment sector as a general manager and in commercial, development and marketing roles. Karen was most recently General Manager of the Come Out Festival, and has held senior roles with the Adelaide Festival Centre, BASS, and Ticketek, working with many of Australia's major arts organisations throughout her career.

Lee-Anne Donnolley has many years experience in theatre and dance, frequently focused on developing new work, from Nimrod and Belvoir to Lighthouse and the Australian National Playwrights' Centre, in festivals and events, and in Australian and international touring. She is touring producer for Australian Dance Theatre, mentor producer for Ade Suharto and Peni Candra Rini's Australia-Indonesia collaboration 'Ontosoroh' at Womadelaide next year, and is international tour producer for Belvoir's 'The Wild Duck'. For seven years until the end of 2013 she was Executive Producer at Arts Projects Australia.

Brink Chair Carolyn Mitchell welcomed Karen and Lee-Anne's appointments as exciting additions to Brink's quality arts team.

"Karen and Lee-Anne bring a combined wealth of experience and creativity to Brink, as well as strategic thinking and vision," said Carolyn. "We welcome them both to our team to work with Chris to build on Brink's reputation as a dynamic, highly-respected producer of original theatre."

Brink has a strong schedule of national and international productions planned, including the UK tour of 'Thursday' by Bryony Lavery in co-production with English Touring Theatre and 'Atlantis' by Lally Katz in co-production with Belvoir.
