Emily Skeggs at 2015 Tony Awards

Now that the 2016 TONY nominations have been revealed, it's time for the honorees to chose their formal wear for the big night. According to The New York Post, Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour will once again dress a select few of this year's nominees.

Among those who were 'Wintour-ized' for last year's awards show were "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" Tony winner Alex Sharp, "Hand to God"s Steven Boyer and "Fun Home"s Emily Skeggs.

However Wintour's presence was not welcomed by all on the red carpet. According to reports from last year's event, she arrived at the festivities accompanied by "a bevy of supermodels, who siphoned off a lot of media attention that had been intended for the nominees."

Described one attendee, "The photographers were shoving the nominees out of the way to get pictures of all these Russian models." Added a theater exec, "There were some incredibly talented nominees last year who, when you put them next to a supermodel, didn't get a lot of attention. It felt a bit like, 'Nobody wants to talk to me because I'm not the prettiest person on the planet.' "

Among the nominees expected to be dressed by the fashion icon this year are ECLIPSED star
Lupita Nyong'o, BLACKBIRD's Michelle Williams, and several of the stars of HAMILTON, including Lin-Manuel Miranda, Leslie Odom Jr., Daveed Diggs, and Phillipa Soo.

THE 70TH ANNUAL TONY AWARDS, hosted by James Corden, will air live from the Beacon Theatre in New York City on Sunday, June 12 (8:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on CBS. BWW will be bringing you exclusive, live coverage of the event throughout the day!
