And a Happy Birthday shout-out to Lin-Manuel Miranda, who turns 35 today!
Among composer/lyricist Lin-Manuel Miranda's Broadway credits are Bring It On The Musical and the Tony-winning In the Heights, in which he also starred. Miranda also wrote Spanish dialogue and worked alongside Stephen Sondheim to translate Spanish song lyrics for the 2009 revival of West Side Story. He is also a member of the improv musical group Freestyle Love Supreme. Miranda's new musical Hamilton will premiere at the Public this month.
