Hartford police are investigating a break-in at Hartford Stage offices that resulted in anti-gay graffiti.

Police responded to the call just after 8 a.m. to investigate a possible burglary. The general manager said the doors were tampered with and there was graffiti on the walls.

Photos from the scene, some of which can be seen here, show a broken table, paint all over and graffiti on a whiteboard that have prompted police to consider this a possible hate crime. Police have confirmed nothing was taken.

No one from Hartford Stage has said anything yet regarding the crime. To learn more about what happened, check out NBC's article about the incident here.
