This morning, Broadway's Tituss Burgess (THE LITTLE MERMAID) received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Tituss Andromedon on Netflix's Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
Below, BWW salutes the fabulous actor and proves just how 'Outstanding' he really is!


On March 22nd, Burgess joined an all-star line-up of Broadway performers honoring legendary composer, Stephen Sondheim. Below, watch the actor perform "Stay with Me" from the special event!


Burgess introduced a performance of Adam Lambert and sang a bit of 'All By Myself' at this year's Logo Trailblazer Honors.

At the 2013 Broadway Backwards, Burgess performed an awesome cover of "And I'm Telling You" from Dreamgirls

About TITUSS BURGESS:

Burgess made his Broadway debut in the musical Good Vibrations as Eddie in 2005, and then appeared in Jersey Boys in 2005 as Hal Miller. He originated the role of Sebastian in the musical The Little Mermaid in 2007 and went on to the role of Nicely-Nicely Johnson in the revival of Guys and Dolls in 2009. Recently, Burgess played the Witch in Into the Woods in a 2015 production with Miami's DREAMCATCHER Theatre Company.
