Broadway's Linda Lavin guest stars on the next episode of CBS's MOM, titled "Kreplach and a Tiny Tush." In the episode, Christy hosts a family dinner for Violet's hard-to-please future mother-in-law Phyllis (Lavin). The show airs Thursday, Jan. 7 (9:01-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Linda Lavin will return to Broadway in Richard Greenberg's OUR MOTHER'S BRIEF AFFAIR, presented by Manhattan Theatre Club, portraying a woman who may be forgetting more than she remembers.

The new play by the Tony Award winner is directed by MTC's award-winning artistic director Lynne Meadow. The limited engagement of OUR MOTHER'S BRIEF AFFAIR begins previews tonight, December 28, and opens Wednesday, January 20 at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street).

Lavin last appeared on Broadway in 2012 in Nicky Silver's THE LYONS.
