On last night's THE COLBERT REPORT on Comedy Central, "Much Ado About Nothing" director Joss Whedon talked about his name, his modern Shakespeare adaptation and "The Avengers 2." Check out the appearance below!

"Why do you go slumming with the Shakespeare?", asked the host, referring to Whedon's new film 'Much Ado About Nothing.' "Well because it's something I love very much," replied the director. "Shakespeare is somethingthat I and all the other actors in the movie, it's what we grew up with, it's what we studies."

Stephen Colbert is best known as the host, writer and executive producer of the long-running Emmy and Peabody Award-winning series "The Colbert Report" on Comedy Central. Colbert is also a best-selling author and accomplished actor.
