I told you I'd be back in Istanbul....!

A video posted by Hugh Jackman (@thehughjackman) on

Earlier this month, song and dance man Hugh Jackman was scheduled to take the stage in Istanbul for his new one-man show, titled An Evening With Hugh Jackman. Much to the disappointment of his fans, and Jackman himself, the 46-year-old was forced to cancel the performances due to a vocal haemorrhage on his left cord, rendering him unable to sing.

Jackman took to Twitter to announce the unfortunate news, posting: 'Merhaba. I have a left vocal haemorrhage. At advice of Dr. Kocak Dr Korovin I will cancel my shows in Turkey. Make no mistake, I'll be back!'

Well, Jackman was true to his word! Yesterday he posted a video on Instagram announcing the new dates for his return to Istanbul's Zorlu Center - May 29th, May 30th and June 1st, adding "I hope to see you all there"! Check out the footage below!

Jackman earned a Tony Award for his Broadway debut in "The Boy From Oz" in 2004, the same year he first hosted the Tony ceremony. The international movie star returned to Broadway in the 2009 hit "A Steady Rain' opposite Daniel Craig, followed by the solo concert "Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway' in 2011. In 2012, he played the role of 'Jean Valjean' in the musical movie "LES MISERABLES." He most recenlty appeared on Broadway in THE RIVER.
