Top Billboard and folk rock sensation Ben Folds is back by popular demand for a special concert on Monday, April 9 at 7:30 PM performing his greatest hits with the Utah Symphony at Abravanel Hall led by Assistant Conductor Conner Gray Covington. Tickets, priced from $29 to $125, will go on sale Thursday, January 10 at 10 AM through www.utahsymphony.org or by calling (801) 355-2787.

For more than ten years Ben Folds has shared the stage with some of the world's greatest symphony orchestras, performing his pop hits and critically acclaimed "Concerto for Piano and Orchestra." He entertained sold out crowds at three sold out performances with the Utah Symphony at the Deer Valley Music Festival in 2010, 2014 and 2017. Mr. Folds continues to perform with symphonies and also cross-country solo touring reminiscent of his earliest years, where he delivers a high energy rock performance using the intimacy of just a piano. Throughout his career, Mr. Folds has created an enormous body of genre-bending music that includes pop albums with Ben Folds Five, multiple solo albums, and collaborative records with artists from Sara Bareilles and Regina Spektor, to William Shatner. His most recent album is a blend of pop and classical original works that soared to #1 on both the Billboard Classical and Classical Crossover charts.

This concert joins other signature performances featuring chart topping, big name guest artists this season, including multi-platinum fiddling sensation, Celtic Woman, with the Utah Symphony on December 18 and Utah's beloved piano quintet, The 5 Browns, on January 26 in a solo presentation.
