BroadwayWorld brings you a view of A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE's marquee in anticipation of the show's opening night this Sunday, January 24.  A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE, starring Tony® Award-winner Liev Schreiber and Golden Globe nominee Scarlett Johansson, is directed by Gregory Mosher. The production is playing a strict 14-week engagement on Broadway at the Cort Theatre.

Schreiber and Johansson are joined by Jessica Hecht (Neil Simon's Brighton Beach Memoirs), as ‘Beatrice,' Michael Cristofer (The Intelligent Homosexual's Guide to Capitalism and Socialism with a Key to the Scriptures) as ‘Alfieri,' Morgan Spector as ‘Rodolpho,' Corey Stoll (Intimate Apparel) as ‘Marco,' Alex Cendese (Broadway debut), Anthony DeSando (Take Me Out), Antoinette Lavecchia (How to Be a Good Italian Daughter (In Spite of Myself)), Mark Morettini (Pal Joey), Joe Ricci (I Love You, You're Perfect...), Robert Turano ("Guiding Light") and Marco Verna (Broadway debut).

In A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE, Miller's most passionate drama, Schreiber plays Eddie Carbone, a Brooklyn longshoreman obsessed with his 17-year-old niece Catherine, played by Scarlett Johansson. When Catherine falls in love with a newly arrived immigrant, Eddie's jealousy erupts in a rage that consumes him, his family, and his world.

A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE is produced by Stuart Thompson and The Araca Group. Additional producers include Jeffrey Finn, Broadway Across America, Olympus Theatricals, Marisa Sechrest, The Weinstein Company, Jon B. Platt, Sonia Friedman/Robert G. Bartner, Swinsky/Deitch, Adam Zotovich/Ruth Hendel/Orin Wolf, and The Shubert Organization.

The creative team for A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE includes John Lee Beatty (Scenic Design), Jane Greenwood (Costume Design), Peter Kaczorowski (Lighting Design), and Scott Lehrer (Sound Design).

As previously reported, The Oxfam Haiti Relief Fund is inviting people to make a bid on a chance to meet Scarlett Johansson on Sunday's opening. The winning bid will receive four tickets to the play on January 24, as well as the opportunity to join the cast at their after party. All proceeds from the bid will go to help earthquake survivors in Haiti. To place your bid, please click here.
