Thirty One Productions is proud to present, by arrangement with Samuel French Ltd, BASH Latterday Plays by Neil LaBute.

A collection of three one act plays:

Iphigenia In Orem: A businessman from Utah divulges a chilling crime to a stranger in a Las Vegas hotel room.

A Gaggle Of Saints: A young Mormon couple each describe their version of events of a night in New York City.

Medea Redux: A woman recounts her intricate relationship with her Junior high-school English teacher.

Together, they paint a vivid picture of the evils found in everyday life.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Neil LaBute received his Master of Fine Arts degree in dramatic writing from New York University and was the recipient of a literary fellowship to study at the Royal Court Theatre, London and also attended the Sundance Institute's Playwrights Lab.

Films include: In the Company of Men (New York Critics' Circle Award for Best First Feature, Filmmakers' Trophy at the Sundance Film Festival), Your Friends and Neighbors, Nurse Betty, Possession, and The Shape of Things, a film adaptation of his play by the same title.

Plays include: The Shape of Things, The Mercy Seat, The Distance From Here, In a Forest Dark In 2013, Neil LaBute was named one of the winners of the American Academy of Arts and and Deep and Reasons To Be Pretty (TONY Nominated for Best Play). Letters' Arts and Letters Awards in Literature.
