THE BOOK OF MORMON's Gavin Creel, Chris O'Neil and More Set for Talkback at Second City in Toronto, Oct 22
The Second City is excited to host an exclusive and intimate talkback with cast members from the Toronto engagement of The Book of Mormon, including Gavin Creel (Elder Price), Chris O'Neil (Elder Cunningham), Peter Mitchell (Elder McKinley), and Stanley Wayne Mathis (Mafala Hatimbi); in conversation with The Second City's Ashley Botting (Rebel Without a Cosmos).
Students of The Second City Training Centre, and other comedy-loving members of the community, are invited to this special opportunity to chat with the actors currently appearing in the national tour of The Book of Mormon, as they discuss the creative and comedic processes. Hosted & moderated by Ashley Botting, a member of The Second City's mainstage ensemble.
This event is free of charge. Capacity is limited. Advanced tickets can be reserved online. It all takes place on Wednesday October 22, at 5:00pm at The Second City Theatre - 51 Mercer Street, Toronto.
The Book of Mormon is the winner of nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The Book of Mormon features book, music and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone. Parker and Stone are the four-time Emmy Award-winning creators of the landmark animated series, "South Park." Tony Award-winner Lopez is co-creator of the long-running hit musical comedy, Avenue Q. The musical is choreographed by Tony Award-winner Casey Nicholaw (Monty Python's Spamalot, The Drowsy Chaperone) and is directed by Nicholaw and Parker.
