Stockard Channing Announces OTHER DESERT CITIES Hiatus to Film ABC Pilot, 3/14-4/5

Stockard Channing will take a brief hiatus from her role as Polly Wyeth in Jon Robin Baitz's OTHER DESERT CITIES at the Booth Theatre (222 West 45 Steet) to film a role in an untitled ABC-TV pilot starring MAndy Moore.  

 

Ms. Channing will perform in OTHER DESERT CITIES through Tuesday, March 13 and will return to the production on Friday, April 6.  Lauren Klein, who has understudied the role of Polly Wyeth since the production premiered at Lincoln Center Theater last year, will play the role from Wednesday, March 14 through Thursday, April 5. 

 

OTHER DESERT CITIES, directed by Joe Mantello, also stars Stacy Keach, Judith Light, Elizabeth Marvel and Justin Kirk, and is performed Tuesday evenings at 7pm, Wednesday through Saturday evenings at 8pm, with matinees Wednesday and Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 3pm.
