'Spring' Stars Canonico and Hunton Guests on LIVE on Broadway 9/24

Broadway fans are invited to SIRIUS Live on Broadway with host Seth Rudetsky at the Broadway Concierge & Ticket Center each Wednesday at 12 noon ET to watch interviews and performances with their favorite Broadway stars such as Tony Award®-winning actress Bebe Neuwirth and Xanadu star Cheyenne Jackson and cast members from popular Broadway shows [title of show], Avenue Q, Grease and Spring Awakening. Coming up - Wednesday, September 24th at 12:00PM, Seth welcomes Gerard Canonico (Moritz) and Emma Hunton (Ilse) from Broadway's Spring Awakening.
Interviews and performances will be followed by autograph signings and photos. The Broadway Concierge & Ticket Center is located inside the Times Square Information Center at 1560 Broadway between 46th & 47th streets. SIRIUS Live on Broadway will be open to the public. The Broadway Concierge & Ticket Center is the new service from The Broadway League that will offer audiences the official place to go for five-star Broadway hospitality and customized service for Broadway and Off-Broadway tickets and information. In addition to SIRIUS Live on Broadway, SIRIUS host Seth Rudetsky—multi-talented actor, comedian, musician and published author—can be heard daily at 2 pm ET on Seth's Big Fat Broadway as well as with Christine Pedi on Dueling Divas for six hours of Broadway chatter, opinion and celebrity guests on Saturday mornings at 9 am ET, on SIRIUS' Broadway's Best channel. Seth was recently featured as the vocal coach on MTV's Legally Blonde and he currently writes a weekly column on Playbill.com. Spring Awakening features the music of Duncan Sheik and book and lyrics by Steven Sater. Choreography is by Bill T. Jones and it is directed by Michael Mayer. It is the recipient of 8 2007 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and the Grammy Award.
This Fall also marks the launch of the First National Touring Company which premiered on September 7th , and is currently running at the Curran Theatre in San Francisco. The tour's upcoming schedule includes Los Angeles, Seattle, Tempe, AZ, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, Toronto, Canada and Washington, DC among many other stops. September 2nd also was a milestone for the show, as it was the first Broadway show to be invited by iTunes to record a 'LIVE from SoHo' concert at the Apple Store/Soho, which was released exclusively on iTunes. This concert featured composer Duncan Shiek, new stars Hunter Parrish and Alexandra Socha and original stars John Gallagher Jr. and Lauren Pritchard. This month, the Spring Awakening companion book, 'Spring Awakening In The Flesh" has been released by Simon & Schuster. International productions of the musical are now in the works including London, Japan, and Germany.

'SPRING' Star Hunter Parrish Profiled in NYT Feature
Spring Awakening star Hunter Parrish was featured in the New York Times theater section yesterday, the WEEDS actor gives a brief interview about performing the Broadway show and how the stage continues to inspire him. Parrish has been a wonderful addition to the Great White Way these last number of months, bringing dynamic energy to the production and giving of his time and talents to the entire Broadway community. The Times piece is a great profile on an inspired young actor.
