The Broadway musicals A Chorus Line, Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas: The Musical, The Color Purple and Spamalot, plus a number of Broadway stars, will be featured in this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The Parade, which will take place on November 23rd from 9 am to noon, will be broadcast live on NBC.  The performances will include: "One" from A Chorus Line, a medley of "Who Likes Christmas?" and "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" from How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" from Spamalot."  The Color Purple's song choice has not been announced yet.

In addition, the Parade will feature a performance of "I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm" (on the Holiday Lovin' Oven Float) by White Christmas stars Brian D'Arcy James, Jeffry Denman, Meredith Patterson and Anastasia Barzee, an appearance by John Tartaglia (Avenue Q) on the Doodlebug Float, and on the Mother Goose Float, the legendary Julie Andrews and the School of American Ballet with "The Show Must Go On."

Among other Parade offerings will be the performance of "Give Me a Drum," written by cabaret star/songwriter Michael Feinstein and Bill Schermerhorn (Macy's creative director), and performed by 600 kids chosen by Camp Broadway.  They will perform Tony Parise's choreography.

The performances from Broadway shows will take place during the first half hour of the NBC broadcast.
