City Parks Foundation (CPF) is the only independent, nonprofit organization to offer park programs throughout the five boroughs of New York City. CPF works in over 750 parks citywide, presenting a broad range of free arts, sports, and education programs that empower citizens to support their parks on a local level. The Santa Monica Pier's Twilight Concerts are Southern California's premier free outdoor summer live music events. In 2012, the the series' 28th annual installment, such acts as Best Coast, Amadou & Mariam, and Donavon Frankenreiter performed to audiences averaging more than 10,000 people per show. The 2013 Twilight Concerts are co-produced by the Pier's Music Curator team, a collaboration between veteran independent concert promoters Rum & Humble and Echo/Spaceland Presents.
