Lincoln Center is live-streaming all of the American Songbook concerts emanating from the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse throughout the month of March 2015, and you can watch right here at BroadwayWorld. Tonight at 8PM, tune in below for In Need of Music: The Songs of Ben Toth, featuring Taylor Mac, Cheyenne Jackson, Lindsay Mendez, Santino Fontana, and others.

Ben Toth is a rising musical theater composer who will be premiering several exciting new works during his American Songbook concert: Marriage and Out West, created with Pulitzer Prize and Oscar-winning playwright John Patrick Shanley; a song cycle developed with Ovation Award Winner Meghan Brown; and works from Mr. Toth's in-development musical with Todd Almond.

American Songbook in the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse is a series of concerts presented in an intimate, elegant venue that brings artists close to the audience in a cabaret-style setting. The shows run approximately 75 minutes, and they are presented without intermission.

Since its launch in 1998, American Songbook has been dedicated to celebrating the extraordinary achievements of the popular American songwriter from the turn of the 20th century to the present day. Spanning all styles and genres from Tin Pan Alley and Broadway to the eclecticism of today's songwriters working in pop, cabaret, rock, folk and country, American Songbooktraces the history and charts the course of the American song from its past and current forms to its future direction.
