STAGE TUBE: Kristin Chenoweth Helps Bring Broken Arrow Students to Carnegie Hall

Recently partnering with the Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center Foundation, Broadway's Kristin Chenoweth recently focused her philanthropy efforts to support fine arts and community relations in Broken Arrow, establishing the Kristin Chenoweth Fund for Arts and Education. Her first venture for the program was to help raise money for Broken Arrow Public Schools students to receive the opportunity of a lifetime. More than 200 fine arts students just travelled to New York City to share their talents with the world at the legendary Carnegie Hall.

Chenoweth, who just made her own return to Carnegie Hall on May 3, received a Tony Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance as Sally Brown in You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown and received a Tony Award nomination for Best Leading Actress for originating the role of Glinda in Wicked. Highlights of her stage career include performances in Music in the Air and Stairway to Paradise at City Center Encores!; the Off-Broadway productions of Scapin and Love, Loss, and What I Wore; and the Broadway productions of The Apple Tree, Epic Proportions, Steel Pier, and Promises, Promises.
