For the second production in Theatre for a New Audience's inaugural season at its first permanent home, the new Polonsky Shakespeare Center, 262 Ashland Place in Brooklyn, Pennington led a company of 22 actors. KING LEAR began performances on March 14 and ran through May 4, 2014.
McKellen stars in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, hitting theaters this weekend. He last appeared on Broadway with his X-MEN co-star Patrick Stewart in NO MAN'S LAND and WAITING FOR GODOT.
