Sarita's Macaroni & Cheese (S'MAC), an East Village comfort food institution serving a variety of mac'n'cheese dishes, is teaming up over the next two weeks with the FRIGID Festival, a winter Fringe festival showcase in the East 4th Street Cultural District. This exciting partnership between the FRIGID Festival, a non-profit run by the Horse Trade Theater group, and S'MAC is the inaugural event of East Village Eats, a new program sponsored by Fourth Arts Block (FAB) bringing restaurants and theaters together.

S'MAC is providing Partay! platters featuring some of their jazzed up versions of an American classic, such as their limited time only Salsa Picante mac'n'cheese, for FRIGID's Final Festival Party (Sun. March 7, 2010 8:30PM). This event is open to ticket buyers and artists participating in the FRIGID Festival. At the Final Festival Party guests can watch as the FRIGID Festival announces its annual Audience Choice Awards for Best Performance while eating free S'MAC. FRIGID Festival tickets are currently on sale online and via the box office at FB Central (61 East 4th Street).

FAB will be formally launching East Village Eats in late Spring 2010. East Village Eats pairs FAB's extensive cultural base with the abundance of eateries in the East Village to create the ideal night out for locals and tourists alike.

About the FRIGID Festival 2010
FRIGID New York was founded by Horse Trade and EXIT Theatre in 2007. In true support of theatre on the fringe of the mainstream, the artists take home 100% of their box office, and the festival producers do not receive royalties from future performances. The festival's producers are proud to support self-producing artists' growth and future success.

Riding the fringe of winter once more, FRIGID New York returns February 24 - March 7th, 2010 again boasting over 150 performances and kicking off the annual North American Fringe Circuit. 2010's fest will also see more late night events, and parties (of course!).
