Accomplished UK TV host Jonathan Ross spotlights the current hit West End revival of Stephen Sondheim & George Furth's MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG in a new clip just released.

West End stars Damian Humbley, Mark Umbers and Jenna Russell headline the revival, which, as Ross himself states, has been one of the most rapturously-received productions in UK history - which is a special feat for this musical in particular considering it won the Best Musical prize earlier this century, in its West End premiere production.

The new revival of MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG was directed by frequent Sondheim performer Maria Friedman and began its journey at the famed Menier Chocolate Factory. Friedman discusses the show's journey in the new clip, as well as remarks upon the persuasive power of Sondheim's exceptional score and the emotion inherent in the heartbreaking central story of the show.

Humbley, Umbers and Russell add some of their own actorly insights, as well.

MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG currently plays at the Harold Pinter Theatre in London's West End. More information on MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG is available at the official site here.
