On Wednesday, January 6, the current cast of ALTAR BOYZ, in addition to cast alum, presented a $203,916 check to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids that the show raised for the organization at New World Stages. The fundraising for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS will continues right up to the end of the ALTAR BOYZ's run on January 10.

The event showcased actors James Royce Edwards, Austin Lesch, Corey Boardman, Ryan Duncan, Ryan J Ratliff, Andy Karl, Travis Nesbitt, Mauricio Perez, Mitch Dean, and Tommaso Antico, in addition to producers Robyn Goodman and Ken Davenport, company manager Ryan Lympus, and stage managers Kat West and Andrea Hayward.

After the Sunday matinee on January 10, the BOYZ are cleaning out their closets and putting everything on sale! So, while they pack our bags to go back to Ohio, you may want to grab a few mementos of your own. Check out to the Tag Sale between shows on January 10 at New World Stages for the chance to buy ALTAR BOYZ costumes, merchandise, memorabilia, and more! As a bonus, 10% of anything you purchase will go directly to the efforts of Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS. If you can't get there, the EBAY auction of ALTAR BOYZ mementos is now live. Take home the Altar Bears, a Korean Altar Boyz playbill or a door sign, currently hanging at New World Stages, as a memento from the production. 10% of these purchases will also go to BCEFA!

ALTAR BOYZ, the spoof about a Christian boy band, will be closing Sunday January 10th after playing 2032 performances, making it the 9th longest running Off-Broadway musical ever.

Altar Boyz features Michael Kadin Craig, Lee Markham, Travis Nesbitt, Mauricio Perez, and Ravi Roth, and is directed by Stafford Arima and choreographed by Christopher Gattelli. Altar Boyz has music & lyrics by Gary Adler and Michael Patrick Walker with book by Kevin Del Aguila, based on a concept by Marc Kessler and Ken Davenport.

Remaining performances ar Thursday and Friday at 8 pm, Saturday at 4pm & 8pm, and Sunday at 3pm & 7:30pm. New World Stages is located at 340 West 50th Street, just west of Eighth Avenue.
