The Tony-winning star of MISS SAIGON, Lea Salonga, will play the role of the Glamour Cat Grizabella in the international touring production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's popular musical CATS NOW AND FOREVER running on a limited engagement at the Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo, Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) starting July 24, 2010.

The Manila production of CATS is produced by Lunchbox Theatrical Productions, David Atkins Enterprises, Concertus Inc., and All Youth Channels in association with The Really Useful Company Asia Pacific.

Lunchbox Theatrical Productions founder James Cundall, Concertus Inc. managing director Bambi Rivera-Verzo, All Youth Channels Inc. chairman and CEO Francis Lumen, The Really Useful Company Asia Pacific Pty Ltd producer Tim McFarlane, and CATS musical supervisor Fiz Shapur officially welcomed Salonga to the production.

"CATS in Manila is produced by Andrew Lloyd Webber's own company.  It is first-class, and an authentic one," said McFarlane at the press launch.

The Philippine Red Cross is the major beneficiary of the production.  For every ticket sold, PhP 250 will be donated to the Philippine Red Cross.

Tickets are available from PhP 750 to PhP 7,000 to the general public starting December 6, 2009.

If you are a Citi client, you can get 10% discount on tickets until December 31, 2009.  Contact Ticketworld at (632) 891-9999 or visit www.ticketworld.com.ph for more information.
