The Producers Guild of America (PGA) is pleased to announce that Academy Award-winning filmmaker and producer Michael Moore (WHERE TO INVADE NEXT, BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE, FAHRENHEIT 9/11), has been added as a featured speaker at the 2nd annual Produced By: New York (PBNY) conference, taking place October 24, 2015 at Time Warner Center. PBNY will present an in-depth, one-on-one discussion with Moore for the event's headlining "Conversations With..." series. Moore replaces featured speaker Tina Fey, who will no longer be able to join the conference due to the passing of a close family member.

"Michael Moore is one of the most acclaimed documentary filmmakers in the world today. His unforgettable work, including films such as BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE, FAHRENHEIT 9/11 and SICKO has forced audiences to ask tough questions and formulate their our own opinions. His latest film WHERE TO INVADE NEXT is no exception." said Lori McCreary and Gary Lucchesi, Presidents of the PGA. "We are so excited to offer PBNY attendees the chance to be a part of this candid discussion with one of the defining voices in contemporary film."

At the age of 18, Moore became the youngest elected official in the country. At 22, he founded the Flint Voice, a nationally-recognized alternative newspaper. In 1989, Michael made his first film, the box office record breaking ROGER & ME, which gave birth to the modern-day documentary movement. Moore went on to break the documentary box office record two more times with his 2002 Oscar-winning film, BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE and the Palme d'Or-winning FAHRENHEIT 9/11. Other notable films include the Oscar-nominated SICKO and CAPITALISM: A LOVE STORY. Moore won an Emmy Award for his series "TV Nation" and is one of America's top-selling nonfiction authors, with such books as "Stupid White Men" and "Dude, Where's My Country?" Moore's upcoming film WHERE TO INVADE NEXT is set to release in December 2015.

PBNY has recently added more than 15 speakers and mentors to its roster of panelists which includes previously announced speakers such as Alejandro G.
