Nathan Lane to Guest Star on Modern Family

TV Guide is reporting that ADDAMS FAMILY star Nathan Lane will guest star early this fall on the hit ABC show Modern Family (which is home to fellow Broadway baby Jesse Tyler Ferguson) playing a friend to the characters of Cameron and Mitchell.

The show returns on September 22, but no date has yet been announced for Lane's appearance.

Prior to THE ADDAMS FAMILY, Lane's previous Broadway credits include: Present Laughter (Drama Desk nom.), Merlin, The Wind in the Willows, Some Americans Abroad, On Borrowed Time, Guys and Dolls (Tony nom., Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards), Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Love!
