oticias Telemundo presents a Town Hall with President Barack Obama addressing Latinos on the Affordable Care Act (ACA) this Saturday, March 8 at 8 p.m., 7 CST. "Noticiero Telemundo" News Anchor and "Enfoque con José Díaz-Balart" Host, José Díaz-Balart, will co-host this unprecedented one-hour special on the ACA and its impact on the Hispanic community produced in partnership with Impremedia and Univision.

The President will answer questions on different aspects of the law, including enrolment issues, the registration rates of specific age groups, the different plan benefits, the fears of families with undocummented workers, the law economic viability and the potential penalties for not enrolling, among other areas of concern for Latinos. The President will be followed by a panel of experts who will analyze the law impact more in depth. Latinos are a key demographic for the ACA: There are approximately 10.2 million eligible, but uninsured Latinos nationwide, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Latinos make up 17 percent of the population, yet they are nearly a third of the uninsured in the U.S.

The public can join the conversation via social media by following the twitter handle @TelemundoNews or visiting Noticiero Telemundo TV at Facebook or TelemundoNews at Instagram.

The town hall is an initiative of the Asegúrate Campaign in partnership with Telemundo, ImpreMedia and Univisión.
