Morphic Graffiti have announced that they will present The Revenge of Sherlock Holmes! at the world famous Hoxton Hall in April/May 2013. Based on the novels of Conan Doyle, and written by legendary composer and lyricist, Leslie Bricusse, this unique production will pay a Music Hall homage to the Victorian era's greatest living detective.

The Revenge of Sherlock Holmes! has been reworked for this unique 2013 production and will feature brand new songs and material from one of the leading Musical writers of the last fifty years. Academy Award winning writer Leslie Bricusse's career continues to transcend across stage and screen, with an incredible catalogue of credits that include Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Victor Victoria, Dr. Doolittle, Scrooge and Jekyll and Hyde. As well as musicals, he has written many iconic songs including Feeling Good and the James Bond themes Goldfinger and You Only Live Twice.

Enter the world of Sherlock Holmes, his arch nemesis Professor Moriarty, his right hand man, Dr. Watson and his long suffering housekeeper, Mrs Hudson. Mix together some new faces, a call from the grave and a treacherous artiste with a penchant for painting and uncover a mystery that would push even the World's Greatest Detective to breaking point.

Originally built as a Music Hall in 1863, audiences will find themselves stepping back in time as the historic Hoxton Hall is brought back to its former life in a colourful and vibrant romp through Victorian Theatre tradition, promising "More Victoriana than even Prince Albert could handle!"

This production is presented by Morphic Graffiti whose production of Jekyll and Hyde at the Union Theatre in May 2012 received rave reviews and a sell out run. They received the Stage One Bursary for New Producers in 2012.

The production opens Wednesday 10th April 2013 and will run until Friday 10th May 2012. Performances take place Wednesday to Saturday evenings at 7.30pm, Saturday matinees at 3pm and Sundays at 2pm and 6pm.

Tickets are now on sale at £20 (£18 concession) from the Hoxton Hall Box Office on 020 7684 0060 or online, via the theatre website www.hoxtonhall.co.uk
