The Staten Island Philharmonic Orchestra invites members of the public to their upcoming benefit concert,entitled Music of the Night, on Saturday, February 24, 2006 at 7:00 p.m., in the Auditorium at Christ Episcopal Church, 76 Franklin Avenue, Staten Island. Staten Island Advance editor Brian Laline will serve as the host for the evening, which includes dinner, a silent auction, and a cabaret featuring songs from a variety of Broadway musicals. Featured performers include:

• RAYMOND JARAMILLO McLEOD (B'way: Jekyll & Hyde, Dance of the Vampires, Wonderful Town)

Andrea Rivette (B'way: Jekyll & Hyde; National Tours: Jekyll & Hyde, Miss Saigon)

• DAVID WEITZER (Regional: Jekyll & Hyde. Best-known to Staten Island audiences as Don Quixote in the Staten Island Philharmonic’s September 2006 production of Man of La Mancha)

• DAVID VELARDE (National & Int’l Tours: Jesus Christ Superstar; Int'l Tour: The Rocky Horror Show)

• MICHAEL ST. JOHN (National Tour: Les Miserables; Regional: Phantom)

• CHRISTINA CONNORS(Headline production vocalist - Costa Cruise Lines)

• ALLISON MOSIER (Regional: The Scarlet Pimpernel)

• RICHARD KOONS (National Tours: Titanic, A Christmas Carol)

The silent auction will feature many innovative offerings, including a chance to conduct the Staten Island Philharmonic Orchestra, dinner with Maestro José Alejandro Guzmán, a live concert at the winner’s home, and a wedding performed by the Rev.
