Maned Wolf Productions presents its inaugural production with a new work, Long Distance Drunk, in the Cherry Lane Studio Theatre August 19th - August 21st, 2016. The play is written by Corey Pajka, and is directed by Kristan Seemel an Associate Artist and director at the The Flea Theatre.

Two people forge a relationship around music, books, and beer. Years later, as their relationship cracks and their addictions deepen, they go their separate ways and create new lives for themselves. After overcoming their dependencies, they discover the only thing they were ever addicted to was each other. Closeness drove them apart, but distance may bring them back together. This hard-hitting new play wrestles with the ups and downs of substance abuse and the addiction to the most intoxicating drug of all - love.

In addition to Long Distance Drunk, Corey Pajka's work has appeared regionally at Phoenix Stage Company in Connecticut, Stage Left Theatre in Spokane, Washington, Exit 7 Players in Ludlow, Massachusetts, The University of Houston, and Weathervane Theatre in New Hampshire. Other plays include Visible Cosmic Entities, Outer Space Beats Hollywood Every Time, and May The Fourth Be With You (Distilled Theatre Company).

Long Distance Drunk features Marco Torre, and Lori Singleton, each making their Cherry Lane debut. The creative team includes Pei-Wen Huang-Shea (scenic & costume design), Jonathan Cottle (lighting design), and Andy Cohen (sound design).
