MY WAY Continues Through 5/13 at Harbor Lights Theater on Staten Island

Harbor Lights Theater Company (under the leadership of Artistic Director Tamara Jenkins) opened its third season with My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra, with a nine-performance run that began May 4 with performances now through May 13 at Veterans Memorial Hall at Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden (1000 Richmond Terrace) on Staten Island (just minutes from the Staten Island Ferry).

My Way stars Amy Decker(Barrington Stage Company’s The Game, National Tour of The Will Rogers Follies), former Miss Staten Island Ryan Kelly and Jay Montgomery (Harold Hill in Harbor Lights The Music Man). Also making his Harbor Lights debut is Broadway’s James Ludwig (Spamalot and Little Shop of Horrors).

This musical revue, conceived by David Grapes and Todd Olson, who also penned the show's book, recalls the essence of the man through the glorious music he sang, beginning in the 1940s as a big band crooner, continuing on to the bright lights of Las Vegas with the Rat Pack in the 1960s, and to his final performances in the 1990s as 'The Chairman of the Board.' Come hear the swingin' songs that made Sinatra the cool prince of popular music." My Way includes more than 50 songs from the Sinatra catalogue, including “Luck Be A Lady,” "Fly Me to the Moon," "Young at Heart," "I’ve Got You Under My Skin," and "My Way."

Jay Montgomery directs and music direction by Nathan W. Perry. The creative team includes lighting design by Charlie Lawlor, set design by Marija Plavsic and costume design by Tamara Jenkins. Brendan O’Brien is production stage manager.

Performances are Thursday, May 10 at 8pm, Friday, May 11 at 8pm, Saturday, May 12 at 2pm and 8pm and Sunday, May 13 at 2pm (Mother’s Day Special $5 off all tickets use code MOMDAY 5 when ordering).
