Lone Star Love, the new musical at the John Houseman Theatre, has been extended by popular demand through February 6. The Amas Musical Theatre Production, also known as the Merry Wives of Windsor Texas, was originally scheduled to run through January 9.

Lone Star Love, an original musical, transports Shakespeare's immortal John Falstaff to post-Civil War America, where he wreaks havoc on the town of Windsor, Texas, and in so doing--thanks to a pair of wily women--gets his own comeuppance in spades.

Off-Broadway's largest musical has a cast that includes Jay O. Sanders as Sergeant John Falstaff, Stacia Fernandez as Margaret Anne Page, Beth Leavel as Aggie Ford, Gary Sandy as Frank Ford, Dan Sharkey as George Page, Clarke Thorell as Fenton; and the Tony Award-winning Red Clay Ramblers - Clay Buckner as Nym, Chris Frank as Bardolph, Jack Herrick as Pistol - Falstaff's ragtag band of men.

Lone Star Love also features Kevin Bernard as Lucas, Shane Braddock as Rugby, Peter ConnellY as Chester, Harriett D. Foy as Miss Quickly, Stacey Harris as Consuela, Drew McVety as Doctor Caius, April Nixon as Grace, Nick Sullivan as Sheriff Bob Shallow, Julie Tolivar as MissAnne Page, BRANDon Williams as Abraham Slender, and Dana Zihlman as Ruby.

Joining the Red Clay Ramblers band are guest artists Gary Bristol on bass, David LongWORTH on drums and Emily Mikesell on fiddle.
