"Once Upon A Time In New York City" will feature musical theatre writers - who are ages 19 to 90, who were born everywhere from Kansas City to San Francisco to Montreal, who are established and who are emerging - each writing a song about someone who has changed their idea of New York City. The concert will benefit The Actors Fund.

Writers contributing to the concert are Danny Abosch, Gaby Alter, Jake Brandman, Nick Cearley, David Dabbon, Zina Goldrich, Adam Gwon, Paul Scott Goodman, Marcy Heisler, Caleb Hoyer, Joe Iconis, Michael R. Jackson, Galt MacDermot, Julia Mattison, Lauren Molina, Tim Murphy, Ryan Scott Oliver, Willem Oosthuysen, Bill Russell, Dick Scanlan, Charles Strouse, and Zack Zadek.

The concert will feature performances by Grace Capeless (A Christmas Story, Godspell Cast Of 2032), Nick Cearley (The Skivvies, All Shook Up), Katrina Rose Dideriksen (The Pregnancy Pact, Bloodsong of Love), Cait Doyle (Hot Mess In Manhattan, Rated RSO), Paul Scott Goodman (writer of Rooms, Bright Lights Big City), Adam Gwon (writer of Ordinary Days, The Boy Detective Fails), Molly Hager (Fat Camp, Factory Girls), Jaclyn Huberman (I Love You Because, Jac ‘N Swallow), Carly Hughes (Ghost, Ragtime), Joe Iconis (writer of The Black Suits, Bloodsong of Love), Jay Armstrong Johnson (Hands on a Hardbody, Hair), Alyse Alan Louis (Mamma Mia, Xanadu), Lauren Marcus (The Pregnancy Pact, ReWrite), Gaten Matarazzo (Priscilla Queen Of The Desert, Godspell Cast Of 2032), Julia Mattison (Godspell, Human Centipede: The Musical), Lindsay Mendez (Dogfight, Godspell), Lauren Molina (Marry Me A Little, Sweeney Todd), Kate Rockwell (Bring It On, Legally Blonde), Nic Rouleau (THE BOOK OF Mormon, Legally Blonde), Bill Russell (writer of The Last Smoker In America, Side Show), Charles Strouse (writer of Annie, Bye Bye Birdie), and more.

The concert is created by Caleb Hoyer and Jennifer Ashley Tepper, creators of the Bistro Award-winning series “If It Only Even Runs A Minute.”
