LaFabbrica, in association with East River Commedia, Centro Internazionale La Cometa, and The Italian Cultural Institute, present WAITING FOR NIL as part of the 4th Annual Undergroundzero Festival. WAITING FOR NIL is the story about two people who question themselves about the absurdity of human existence. A mother and a daughter are awaiting the arrival of a man but he will only come at the moment when the two ladies are ready. Will the two ladies finish getting ready? And the man, will he finally arrive? The cast includes Elisa Bongiovanni and Giada Parlanti and is performed in Italian ith English subtitles.

LaFabbrica is one of Italy's leading experimental theater companies, and Fabiana Iacozzilli is one of the most important young directors. This group of artists has createdand produced numerous productions including MALWEN, WAITING FOR NIL, FAMILY GAMES, and others. It has received critical acclaim and it has won numerous awards and prizes including: Voci dell'anima 2007;Newcontaminateart Festival 2008; Ermo Colle 2008; Martelive 2009; Teatriabitati 2009. LaFabbrica was also one of the finalist of "Scenario 2009" the Italy's most important award for experimental theater companies. This year it was selected to participate at the "Naples International Festival 2010".

WAITING FOR NIL's director, Fabiana Iacozzilli, graduated from the "Centro Internazionale La Cometa" in 2002. This theater academy is one of the most important prominent art schools of Rome. After graduation Iacozzilli worked with important Italian and European directors including Luca Ronconi and Pierpaolo Sepe. She was an assistant in the work about Stanislavski's physical actions by Natalia Zsvereva and in Peter Clough's pedagogical work. In 2010 she won the award "Donnamostradonna" for best direction. Iacozzilli is also an acting teacher at the Theatre Academy Lafucina (Rome) and at the University Link Academy (Rome).
