Knitting Factory and Scenic are proud to welcome the New York Dolls to Warsaw in Brooklyn. It's difficult to imagine a band that has a bigger stake in New York rock ‘n' roll history, and indeed, the New York Dolls' saga has been covered in countless rock histories, journals, and films. While the legacy of the original quintet is impossible to dispute--creating glam rock in their own image and influencing countless punk and alternative rockers to come--it's interesting to note that the new-era New York Dolls has outlasted the original band. Reforming in 2004, the band released One Day It Will Please Us to Remember Even This in 2006.

The Dolls reunited with producer Todd Rundgren, who helmed their 1973 debut, for their latest album, ‘Cause I Sez So. Rolling Stone magazine said, "The reconstituted New York Dolls stack up awfully well against the original Seventies band, whose glam rock inspired thousands of acts. This follow-up to the Dolls' fine 2006 comeback features new moves like reggae and Latin-tinged balladry. But the selling points are its Stones-y propulsion and the nuanced vigor of David Johansen."

Warsaw is located at 261 Driggs Avenue in Brooklyn, New York, 11222.
