Empire State Pride Agenda's 22nd Annual Fall Dinner is set for Thursday, October 17, 2013. The premier LGBT event of theyear will be hosted by Kinky Boots Tony-Award winning star Billy Porter. Honorees include Roberta A. Kaplan, lawyer for Edie Windsor in DOMA case, and EVan Wolfson, Founder and President, Freedom to Marry.

Also in attendance will be legendary playwright Tony Kushner, U.S. Senator Charles Schumer, U.S. Congressmember Sean Patrick Maloney, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, New York City Council Speaker Christine Quinn, California State Assembly Speaker John A. Pérez and more.

The Fall Dinner, the Pride Agenda's largest annual event, will take place at the Sheraton New York, Times Square Hotel, New York, NY on Thursday, October 17, 2013 - 5:30 p.m. reception and 7 p.m. dinner and program.

The Pride Agenda's annual Fall Dinner brings together over 1,100 supporters to celebrate the LGBT community and demonstrate our strength and commitment to achieving equality and justice for all LGBT New Yorkers. We will be joined by LGBT leaders, straight allies, politicians and decision makers who are all proud to stand up for the rights of LGBT New Yorkers.

The Fall Dinner benefits the Empire State Pride Agenda, whose work focuses on advancing equality all LGBT New Yorkers and our families, including the passage of a statewide transgender non-discrimination law, family protections, securing resources for those most vulnerable, and helping to elect pro-LGBT representatives to office.

The Empire State Pride Agenda is New York's statewide civil rights and advocacy group committed to achieving full equality and justice for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) New Yorkers and our families. The Pride Agenda fights for these priorities by: educating policymakers, elected officials and the public; building coalitions and mobilizing allies; lobbying government officials; administering a Political Action Committee; and organizing and empowering the LGBT community.
