Joi Danielle Price returns to The Metropolitan Room this fall with her debut show- UNFILTERED. Unfiltered is an exploration of music that holds back nothing and reveals everything, for better or for worse. Joi Danielle Price connects with you through the plainly honest works of Jeff Blumenkrantz, Henry Mancini, Harold Arlen, Alanis Morissette and variety of others in between. Performances will take place Sunday, September 25th at 9:30 PM and Sunday, December 11th at 9:30 PM.

Joi Danielle Price was last seen on Broadway in Mamma Mia! She was also in the National Tours of Mamma Mia! and Ragtime, in which she understudied the role of Sarah. Joi has also appeared in the casts of regional theaters, staged readings, including Saint Heaven (York Theatre), Class Moms, and another work in development based on the film, Coming to America. She is also a trained teacher of Music Together, a music education program for infants and toddlers. A native of Flint, Michigan, Joi earned a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre at the University of Michigan, where she also received a B. A. in Communications and learned to speak Japanese.

Dana Haynes, Piano and Music Direction, is a music director, accompanist, orchestrator and music copyist. His latest project, WALKER IN BABYLON, is an electro-pop music technology extravaganza and will be workshopped at The Old Globe in the fall. He also runs a website devoted entirely to providing transpositions to the theater and professional musician community - www.quicktranspositions.com. He lives in Brooklyn with his fiancee and two cats that sleep on his face every night.

Chris Biesterfeldt, Guitarist, is originally from Asheville, North Carolina and moved to New York City in 1994. His Broadway guitar experience includes Good Vibrations, Xanadu, Cry Baby, Radio City Christmas Spectacular and subbing on numerous others. Off-Broadway credits include Zanna Don't, Once Around The Sun, Almost Heaven: The Songs of John Denver and This Beautiful City. In addition to playing and recording with his own Jazz and Fusion projects, Chris teaches at New York University and The Collective. He holds an M.F.A. in Jazz Performance from the University of Tennessee, where he studied with Donald Brown and Jerry Coker.

A fellow native of Flint, Suzanne Carrico, Director, won the MAC Award in 2008 for her debut in THE ART OF THE CAHN, featuring the Sammy Cahn songbook with Musical Director Tedd Firth & Director Mary Cleere Haran.

Their follow up show, THE FRIENDLIEST THING won rave reviews, called "The Smartest Show about Sex or The Sexiest Show about Smarts" by Broadway World. In 2010 Suzanne's first studio album WHAT CHRISTMAS TIME MEANS TO ME, featuring The Don Rebic Quartet was released to critical acclaim. 2011 will bring a new show to her growing repertoire: BROKEN. In addition to her work as a singer, Ms. Carrico's company SuCa Productions is devoted to promoting New York City songwriters. She is thrilled to be working with Ms. Price on UNFILTERED.
