A special Thalia Kids' Book Club event for parents and kids 9-12: I Love Harriet the Spy! is set for Symphony Spcae today, February 3 at 1 pm.

Acclaimed authors Kirsten Miller, (Kiki Strike), Michael Buckley (The Sisters Grimm, N.E.R.D.S.) and Rebecca Stead (Liar & Spy) take part in a lively discussion of our favorite spunky kid sleuth. Actor Sarah Steele (Please Give, Russian Transport) reads an excerpt. Kids and parents who love Harriet the Spy will not want to miss this event.

In this timeless story, 11-year-old Harriet M. Welsch, determined to be a writer, carries her secret notebook with her, writing down everything she sees on her daily "spy route" through her New York City neighborhood.

Kids who love to read will find several exciting activities planned for the 2012-13 season. The always popular Thalia Kids' Book Club includes lively discussions between children's book authors and their fans, co-presented with the Bank Street Bookstore.

All Tickets: $15 ($12 for members). Registration is now open for the Thalia Book Club Camp
for kids ages 9 to 14. For more information about this summer program for avid young readers, go to the Book Camp page.

Symphony Space is located at 2537 Broadway (at 95th), New York, NY. Box office: 212-864-5400, or email boxoffice@symphonyspace.org.
