Vermont's busy summer/fall theater season has come to a close, and now it's time for some holiday fun! Among this year's holiday-themed productions are Green Mountain Theater Group's A CHRISTMAS SURVIVAL GUIDE and two opportunities to see IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE: Lost Nation Theater's live radio play presentation, and Lamoille County Players' traditional stage production.

In Lost Nation Theater's IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE - A LIVE RADIO PLAY (12/4 and 12/5), Montpelier's City Hall Arts Center becomes a 1940s broadcast studio for Lost Nation's 6th annual presentation of the beloved holiday classic. The cast includes Mark Roberts, Kim Bent, and Cher Laston. Photo courtesy of Lost Nation Theater.

Lamoille County Players presents Doug Rand's stage adaptation of IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE (12/6 - 12/8 and 12/13 - 12/15) at the Hyde Park Opera House. Directed by Judith Mathison, the cast includes Mark Freeman, Taryn Noelle, and Chris Demars. Photo courtesy of Lamoille County Players.

Green Mountain Theater Group's A CHRISTMAS SURVIVAL GUIDE (12/11 - 12/15) is a comedic musical romp that follows five characters through a stressful holiday season. Presented at Plainfield's Goddard Haybarn Theater, this Hindman/Roderick/Glaudin revue features Charlie Cerutti, Siena Facciolo, Todd Jones, Erin McIntyre, and Amy Papineau; with artistic direction by Caleb Pitkin and musical direction by Eliza Thomas.
