"It's What Your See" lecture series: Harry Benson speaks at a Cultural Council luncheon on how he sees the world and translates his vision into compelling photos. It all takes place at the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County, 601 Lake Avenue, Lake Worth, Fla., on Monday, January 13, 2014 from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m.

Famed photographer, Harry Benson arrived in America with the Beatles in 1964 and some of his most iconic shots are of the Fab Four. During his 60-year career as a photojournalist he has twice been awarded the Leica Medal of Excellence and named NPPA Magazine Photographer of the Year. In 2009, he was named Commander of the British Empire by HRH Queen Elizabeth II for his service to photography. His photos are in the permanent collections of many museums including the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery in Washington, DC and have been included in 17 books such as "New York, New York," "The Beatles in the Beginning" and "President and Mrs.Reagan: An American Love Story."

This is an opportunity to hear from one of the most important chroniclers of our time in an intimate environment.
