Broadway-bound Hamilton star Daveed Diggs will perform in a one-night-only staged reading of the new play THE LIMP on Wednesday, June 10, in New York. Diggs is fresh off of Lortel Award and Theatre World Award wins for his dual Hamilton roles (Marquis De Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson).

THE LIMP also stars Dahlak Brathwaite and playwright Rafael Casal. The reading is directed by Chris Walker.

Rafael Casal's THE LIMP is a contemporary examination of the relationship between love and male identity, told by three components of the psyche in conversation with each other and themselves. Set in a 20-something's living room minutes before a date arrives, a conversation between three roommates snowballs into a hilarious, philosophical and violent portrayal of how men of the Millennial generation experience the big L word and all that surrounds it.

The staged reading of THE LIMP will take place on Wednesday, June 10, at 7pm, at IATI Theater, located at 64 E. 4th St. in NYC. The reading is open to the public and will include a post-show talkback. There is a $5 suggested donation. Seating is first-come, first-served, but attendees can RSVP on Facebook at www.facebook.com/events/1551758388400275/. More information is available at www.iatitheater.org/programs/detail/the_limp.

This reading of THE LIMP is part of IATI's Cimientos play development program.
