Prospect Theater Company presents its annual gala, 2012's Spring Soirée, in the Harbor View Room at Battery Gardens, a waterside location nestled at the southernmost corner of Battery Park.

This special one-night-only event will be held on Monday, May 21 from 6pm – 10:30pm, with an 8pm concert performance, to feature performances by Broadway friends as well as Prospect stars! Battery Gardens is located inside New York City's Battery Park (opposite 17 State Street): www.BatteryGardens.com. Tickets for the entire evening, which includes a cocktail hour, seated dinner, performance, and after-party, range from $250 - $500 and are available until May 14th by calling 212-594-4476, or visiting www.ProspectTheater.org and downloading the mail order form.

Tickets to the concert and after-party portion of the evening (performance begins at 8pm) are $125, and may be obtained through online purchase at www.ProspectTheater.org or by calling 212-352-3101. A portion of the cost of each ticket is tax-deductible. Proceeds from the evening will benefit Prospect's mission to develop and produce new American musical theater works.

In anticipation of Prospect's upcoming July production of Cole Porter's NYMPH ERRANT, the evening's program will feature songs by Cole Porter as well as 2011 Cole Porter Award recipient and Prospect founding member Peter Mills, and other selections from Prospect's decade-long repertoire of new musicals.

Currently scheduled to appear are: four-time Tony Award-nominee Gregg Edelman (City of Angels, Anna Karenina, 1776, Into the Woods), Ann Harada (Avenue Q, 9 to 5, The Kid), and Alexander Gemignani (Les Miserables, Sweeney Todd, Assassins, Road Show), plus more to be announced! Prospect is also pleased to welcome back members of its 2012 cast of Myths and Hymns - Linda Balgord, Ally Bonino, Donell James Foreman, Anika Larsen, Lucas Steele, and two-time Tony Award nominee Bob Stillman - for an encore performance!
