West Country folk singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Seth Lakeman is returning to Parr Hall as part of a new album tour.

Ballads of the Broken Few, Seth's eighth studio album was released in September with the single Meet Me in the Twilight playlisted soon after on BBC Radio 2.

The album, which was produced by Ethan Johns, is a stunning combination of the singer's dynamic songwriting and playing, and the sublime harmony vocals of emerging young female trio Wildwood Kin.

Seth's soaring vocals are perfectly complemented by the seamless harmonies of Wildwood Kin who are also from Devon.

The BBC Radio 2 Folk Award-winner's previous albums include Mercury Prize-nominated Kitty Jay, the gold-selling Freedom Fields which featured the hit singles Lady of the Sea and The White Hare, Poor Man's Heaven, Hearts and Minds, Tales from the Barrel House, and Word of Mouth.

With Ballads of the Broken Few, Seth demonstrates yet again that, far from being complacent, he is constantly exploring new and bold musical paths.

The new tour, which calls in at Warrington on 11 March 2017, will feature tracks from the new album and live favourites from his back catalogue.

Tickets are on sale now at www.pyramidparrhall.com.
