HONK!

Friday-Saturday,
June 30-July 1

Simultaneously witty and moving, Honk! Jr. treats audiences to equal amounts of laughter and tears. Ugly looks different from his darling duckling brothers and sisters. The other animals on The Farm are quick to notice and point this out, despite his mother's protective flapping. As the little fowl finds himself on an adventure of self-discovery, Ugly meets a whole flock of characters and finds out being different is not a bad thing to be.

CABARET

Thursday-Sunday,
July 20-23

"Leave your troubles outside" with this Tony Award-winning musical by John Kander and Fred Ebb, which sets a complicated love story between struggling novelist Cliff Bradshaw and nightclub singer Sally Bowles against the rise of the Nazi Party in 1930s Berlin. It's framed by fantastic numbers inside the decadently dilapidated Kit Kat Klub, an escape from reality presided over by the Emcee, who comments on the political and social implications of the action in the story while hinting at the tragedy yet to come. Cabaret's examination of the ways artists respond to changing political and social climates continues to resonate deeply in our current era.

XANADU

Thursday-Sunday,
August 3-6

This Tony Award-nominated, hilarious roller skating musical adventure about following your dreams despite the limitations others set for you rolls along to the original hit score composed by pop-rock legends Jeff Lynne and John Farrar. Based on the Universal Pictures cult classic movie of the same title, which starred Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly, Xanadu is hilarity on wheels for adults, children, and anyone who has ever wanted to feel inspired. The charmingly audacious ensemble help create worlds from Venice Beach to Mt. Olympus. While you laugh out loud at this parodic comedy, Xanadu raises questions about the role of art and inspiration in our lives.
