Eden Espinosa Takes Home 'Album of the Year' at Inaugural IMEA Awards

The International Music and Entertainment Association (IMEA) held their first annual awards on November 2, 2013 in Ashland, Kentucky.

Eden Espinosa (BROOKLYN, WICKED, RENT), who released her debut solo album "Look Around" in December 2012 took home two awards: Pop CD/Album of the Year ("Look Around") and Pop Female Vocalist of the Year. "Look Around" producer Joseph Abate, also won Producer of the year.

Speaking of her wins, Espinosa says, "It was such an honor to be recognized for the huge amount of work that we put into this album. This album is really an extension of myself and represents part of who I am as a person so I'm greatful that people are really enjoying it! I think that support for independent artist is so important."
